Ky/Tenn Report
Volume 10, Number 11 NOVEMBER 2003
KY/TENN PERMITS SET RECORD PACE-Some 141 new wells
were permitted in Kentucky during October 2003 and 38 new
wells permitted in Tennessee during the same period. Some
45 of the Kentucky wells were counties near the Tennessee
border, which we report in the Ky/Tenn Report. In fact there
were so many wells, it wouldn't fit on one page, even when
we reduced the type size. Keep it up!
TOGA-KOGA CHRISTMAS PARTY, DECEMBER 6, IN SOMERSET-Somerset
Refinery and South Kentucky Purchasing Co, will host a joint
Tennessee Oil & Gas Association and Kentucky Oil &
Gas Association Christmas party on Saturday, December 6th
in Somerset, Kentucky. All KOGA members, TOGA members and
guests are invited to attend the free dinner-dance Christmas
Party. TOGA And KOGA will provide the liquid refreshments
and Christmas presents. Because of the additional cost for
the party, it was also agreed that everyone would pay for
their own room if they chose to stay overnight. Reservations
for the party are required, if you want to receive a Christmas
gift. Call the KOGA office or the TOGA office. Some 60 rooms
have been reserved at the Hampton Inn. Call the Hampton Inn
at 606-676-8855 to make a reservation and arrange payment
for the room and other charges.
TOGA BOARD TO MEET IN SOMERSET, 3 P.M.,DECEMBER 6TH--The

MORE CHRISTMAS PARTY SPONSORS NEEDED- U.S. Petroleum,
Norris Well Service, Young Oil Corp, A.C. Insurance, B &
H Supply, Cumberland Drilling and Tennessee Integrator Services

need more $100 sponsors to help cover the cost of the liquid
refreshments and Christmas gifts. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Call the TOGA office at 615-263-1291 to let us
know if you are interested in sponsoring.
RESERVATIONS NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS PARTY-We are looking
for a record turnout for the TOGA-KOGA Christmas Party. If
you plan to attend let the KOGA or TOGA office know you plan
to be there, so we can be certain we have enough food and
presents.
