SITE COORDINATOR TRAINING, JUNE 27TH The next Site Coordinator training sessions is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27th in Oneida, Tennessee. Call Chuck Murchison at 615-371-6137 to sign up. Leave a message; he will call you back with the details.

ANNUAL WELL REPORT UPDATE- Tennessee operators recently received a letter from Mike Burton, Assistant Oil & Gas Supervisor, that annual well reports were due June 1, 2006.  The annual reports replace the monthly production reports, as per a change in the Oil & Gas Regulations, that went into effect October 2005.  TOGA appealed to Burton to extend the deadline, due to both the confusion on when the new regulation went into effect and the need for a report form.  Burton agreed and is currently developing the new reporting form.

MILLER KICKS OFF DRILLING IN KOPPERS SOUTH- Miller Petroleum (OTC;MILL) has begum it’s drilling on its Koppers South lease in Campbell County, Tennessee. This 22,000 acre-prospect in included in a recently-formed joint venture with Wind Mill Oil & Gas LLC, in which Miller has a 49% interest and Wind City has a 51% interest.  Koppers South is a high graded prospect that is expected to produce hydrocarbons from the Mississippian Age “Big Lime” and Devonian Age “Chattanooga Shale”.

YOUNG HITS BIG KNOX COUNTY GAS WELL-The Young Oil Corporation announced  that it has drilled in a natural gas well in Knox County, Kentucky, with an initial open flow rate of 10 million cubic feet of gas a day. The KL-5 well, located about four miles northeast of Corbin in Knox County in mid central Kentucky, came in flowing natural gas when drilling topped the Big Lime formation at a depth of 1235 feet. “We expect to complete this new well and have it in production in June.  “We believe the well will settle to about 750,000 cubic feet of gas per day,” said Anthony Young, Young Oil CEO. The well was drilled by DrillPro.  Young Oil Corporation owns 100% of the working interest in the well.

GAS GATHERING OPERATING IN FENTRESS-OVERTON COUNTIES-The TOGA office received this good news via email on May 16th: We are partners in a gas gathering system that totals approximately 53 miles of line that extends from just north of Monterey, Tennessee, on Highway 164 through portions of Fentress and Overton Counties. I am looking to advertise to the Oil & Gas Industry in general area (Tennessee & Kentucky) the fact that we are operational and capable of moving product to point of sale.  The point being that there may be someone who was contemplating drilling in the area that does not realize that not only can oil generate revenue, however, gas can now be sold as well.   Your assistance in getting me information on companies that  put together drilling ventures or operations in the area would be greatly appreciated.  Please feel free to contact me at any of the following numbers. Barry Sanditen, Sanditen Development, 500N. Capital of Texas Hwy, Building 7, Austin, TX 78746, (512)327-6353), fax (512)327-6793 or mobile (512) 789-6576, www:sanditen.com.

TENGASCO COMPLETES KANSAS DRILLING PROGRAM-Tengasco, Inc. (AMEX;TGC) announced the completion of the company’s 8-well drilling program on its oil producing properties in Kansas.  Seven of the eight wells were producing or are expected to produce commercial quantities of oil. The company also announced that quarterly oil production volumes in Kansas achieved a record level with 38,502 barrels of oil produced in the first quarter of 2006.

NGAS REPORTS 116% INCREASE IN PRODUCTION REVENUE-NGAS Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq:NGAS) has reported oil and gas revenue rose 116% for the first quarter of 2006 over first quarter 2005, due to production volume increases and higher realized commodity prices.  Total revenue was a record $27.3 million, a 27% increase over the comparable period in 2005.  The growth in total revenue was driven by higher oil and gas revenue as well as a 22% increase in contract drilling.

PERMITTING ACTIVITY UP IN 2005 AND 2006-Ronald P. Zurawski, State Geologist and Director, Tennessee Division of Geology, reported during the TOGA convention that oil and gas permitting in Tennessee increased by nearly 59% during 2005.  There were permits issued in 11 counties, up from nine in 2004. A total of 254 permits were issued, compared with 223 in 2004.  During 2006, permitting activity is expected to increase again if May activity is any indication.  In May, some 54 permits were issued and early indications are that permitting activity in June may be as just as strong.
