2011 Scholarship Winners

Jerry Lewis Walker
Jerry Lewis Walker II is a 2011 graduate of Jellico High School in Campbell County. His parents are Jerry and Sheila Walker. During high school, he has participated in varsity basketball and baseball for all four years. He is the Senior Class Treasurer. He was a member of the Student Council for one year and a member of the Beta Club for 3 years. He is an All-American Scholar, a National Society of High School Scholar, and a News Sentinel Academic Achiever. He has had perfect attendance for all four years of high school. He is active in his community where he has coached a Jr. Pro basketball team, umpired at Little League Baseball games, taught Bible school, and performed in numerous church plays. He plans to attend Union College and major in Physical Therapy.

Karrington Foster
Karrington Leigh Foster is a 2011 graduate of Oneida High School in Scott County. Her parents are Devonda Foster and Jeff Foster. During high school, she has participated as a cheerleader for all four years. She was a member of the SWAT Club (Students With A Testimony) for all four years. She was a member of the Youth For Christ for one year, a member of the Junior Advisory Board for one year, a member of the Yearbook staff for one year, a member of the National Honors Society for one year, and a Tennessee Scholar. She has worked a part-time job at Fireside Restaurant in Oneida since September 2009. She plans to attend East Tennessee State University and major in Pre-Pharmacy with the goal to be the owner of her own pharmacy one day.


Jordan Billingsley is a 2011 graduate of Cumberland Gap High School in Claiborne County. He is the son of David and Teresa Billingsley. He is graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He is a member of the Key Club, the Beta Club, and the National English Honors Society (NEHS). He has had perfect attendance for all four years of high school. He is a very active member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He plans to attend Lincoln Memorial University and double major in Business and Chemistry.

Misty Dawn Bonham is a 2011 graduate of Wartburg Central High School in Morgan County. Her parents are Mark and Robin Bonham. She will graduate with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. During high school, she was a member of the FCA, FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), and the Beta Club. She has held a Renaissance Gold Card each semester. She has participated in the annual Wartburg Trunk-or-Treat, the Morgan County Breast Cancer Awareness Crusade, the "X the Text" Challenge, and the Central High Recycling Program. She is a member of Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. She plans to attend Roane State Community College and major in Elementary Education. She will be enrolling in their 2+2 teaching program. Her goal is to become a First or Second Grade Teacher.
